Snap Judgment Graphics
When I first started working at Snap Judgment 3 years ago I was relatively new to Photoshop. I had been using it for years for various projects, however it mostly consisted of using the magic wand and perhaps a paintbrush and eraser here and there. Not long after I began at Snap I was made responsible for all their graphics design work. I discovered that Photoshop is awesome!
For those of you that are new to Snap Judgment, It’s a weekly storytelling radio show on NPR. It usually features about 4 or 5 stories about anything from a kid getting yelled at in a skate park to a CIA operative on a mission in hostile territory. For every episode it’s my job to create pictures for each story plus a cover for the entire episode which usually features our host, Glynn Washington. The pictures are usually a blend of a number of images collected from stock photo sites, Google images, and my own camera.
Below is a small selection of them, along with a few other promotional items for the show such as posters and handouts. And be sure to check out the show at SnapJudgment.org.
